The D.I.D Standard Drive Chain is widely acknowledged for its exceptional quality and is anything but ordinary. Each D.I.D Standard Drive Chain features a variety of attributes designed to surpass American National Standards Institute (ANSI) requirements effortlessly:
The D.I.D XT Power Link is an “Extra Strength Connecting Link” designed to match the strength of standard links. It offers up to 65% greater fatigue strength compared to traditional loose-fit connecting links and supports a horsepower rating that is up to 27% higher. This means you can operate a motor with significantly increased horsepower without needing to select a larger chain size due to the strength of the connecting link.
D.I.D employs an innovative CBP (Compression Beveling Process) that removes all weaknesses typically associated with connecting link plates. As a result, the fatigue strength of the D.I.D ANSI Standard series matches that of the chain body itself.
The D.I.D XT Power Link serves as the standard connecting link for the D.I.D ANSI Standard Series*, and you won’t incur any additional costs for this linking component when fulfilling your standard chain needs. The uniform strength, including that of the connecting link, exemplifies the D.I.D advantage. *Applicable for RC50 through RC240 only.
The DID standard roller chains are available in 14 sizes ranging from RC25 to RC240. All are in conformity with JIS (Japanese Industrial Standards) and ANSI (American National Standard Institute) standards.
